HMPA Cocktails for A Cause
PCP teamed up with DTI Global on June 16 to sponsor the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Assocation Cocktails for a Cause
For a donation, HMPA members enjoyed, wine, cocktails, hor d’oeuvres and a night out with legal professionals. Over 40 HMPA attendees joined us at La Table, a French-American restaurant, bar, & bakery. This year’s HMPA Cocktails for a Cause benefited the Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) in Houston, Texas. RPM’s mission is to “provide a second chance for thousands of homeless dogs and cats through rehabilitation and transport to forever homes in communities throughout the country that have a need for adoptable pets.”
RPM is located in Houston, Texas where euthanization of shelter pets is still allowed. In 2015, RMP teamed up with BARC to transport adoptable pets to Colorado’s no-kill shelters. According to their website, RPM has moved over 13,000 adoptable pets to new homes. Rescued Pets Movement is still in need of fosters and donations. Visit their website, www.rescuedpetsmovements.org, to donate or to become a foster parent and help save a life today.
